*Wake-Up Call* peaked at #2 on Billboard's Top Contemporary Christian charts in 1993, and also earned the 1994 Best Rock Gospel Album Grammy Award and Rock Album Dove Award. *Wake-Up Call* was the last Petra recording to feature founding guitarist Bob Hartman (until his return in 2002). Following the tour for *Wake-Up Call*, Hartman retired as a full-time member and continued his role as songwriter and producer for subsequent studio releases.
